Find out the answers to FAQs

How many yoga classes can I come to?
As many live classes as you like over the week, we have 11 available at the moment. You can also do the pre-recorded classes alongside as well. However, I don't recommend doing more than seven a week, and have at least one complete rest day.

Do I have to have done yoga before?
You don't! Each class is adaptable and we can modify according to ability. However, I wouldn't start with an Ashtanga class. Yin and Fitness Yoga are slower paced so I am able to help more throughout the class.
If you'd like a little more confidence before joining in though, I offer Beginners Yoga Courses which can start whenever you're ready!

I'm not flexible and cannot touch my toes, does this matter?
Absolutely not! The reason we do yoga is to improve our flexibility, not because we have it already. By becoming more flexible you will help reduced your risk of injury in the future.

I have injuries, does this matter?
Short answer is that it shouldn't, however this does of course depend on the injury. I would ask that you contact me prior to joining or starting a class so we can discuss the injury or health condition first. Most common injuries, such as back and joint pain though are helped massively by yoga and we can modify where required.

I run a lot, which is the yoga for me?
Fitness Yoga would be my highest recommendation for runners, however all 3 have merit.

I lift and gym a lot, which is the yoga for me?
Fitness Yoga would be my highest recommendation for lifters and those that have high amounts of muscle mass, however all 3 will help your range of movement and aid recovery and strength.

Do I need a Yoga mat?
For live Studio classes, Yes! Please bring your own mat.
For Online yoga, short answer, no. But I do recommend one for comfort and warmth under the body, to prevent carpet burns and for hygiene purposes.

Where are your Studio classes?
Located at 2 different Studios in Norwich:
Monday night's at Buxton Lodge, in Catton Park, Norwich.
Friday morning's at Earlham House Clinic, Norwich.

How do I cancel my membership?
Yoga with me might not be right for all of time, things change, therefore you're not tied into any kind of contract, and you can cancel your membership at any time by sending me an email letting me know when. If you cancel mid month (between 2 payments) you still get to use your membership until your payment anniversary and your membership ends.

What do I need to join in?

Here is what you need to get started with your practice right away:
Picture

Get logged on

Have Zoom ready on your chosen devise to make joining in really easy. Remember it's great if I can see you, but you really don't need to be able to see the screen.
Picture

And find the space to put it

It's not essential but you'll certainly be more comfortable on a mat rather than the floor.
Picture

PJs are also welcome

The less restrictive your clothing the easier each posture will be.
