Class descriptions
Fitness YogaAlex's Fitness Yoga classes are the staple of her offering.
The classes are alignment based, which means your own ability dictates the poses and positions you do. Alex coaches and guides you through every class, not demonstrating the poses, but watching you and guiding you in. Your adjustments are based on your needs, your adaptation and progressions through the poses are personal, and not a one sized fits all. The alignment allows you to move safely, and encourage movement and stability in the body. Over time this accumulates to moving in day to day life with more ease, you'll find a reduction in every day aches and pains and an increased confidence in your own abilities. |
Fitness FlowA more challenging class where we perform poses sequenced with the breath. The poses will be broken down, and we'll build on the flow round by round, so everyone knows what's what and where you need to be.
As always, progressions will be added, so every yogi can get through the flow safely, and have a good time. Yoga experience recommended, and perhaps a few online Fitness Yoga classes first so you're used to how Alex teaches. |
Long Hold StretchThis class offers you a chance to unwind, slow down and find a deep stretch within your body.
Take some time to notice how you feel, support yourself with props, give yourself permission to chill. Suitable for almost any level of yogi. This class is much slower, so there are loads of opportunities for personal adaptations, as well as time to learn about what your body can do. The joy of online yoga allows you to do this class in your own home, wearing your PJs or maybe in front of the fire. The ultimate relax. |
