Take your yoga practice to another level...
This course has been a long time coming, it's taken me a while to hone it and make it something that will have tangible results for anyone that takes part, and I'm excited to share it with you.
As you may know, yoga has two clear elements; there is your physical practice on the mat, whether this is movement, breath work or even meditation. The other element is the philosophy of yoga which may not take you to your mat at all and can be completely ignored even if you're making a regular appearance on your yoga mat.
I discovered many years ago now that once we start to embrace the philosophy of yoga alongside our physical practice we start to get so much more out of every element. Our mindset improves from the philosophy and the physical practice improves from the change of mindset.
Along my journey into the philosophy of yoga I've also discovered how far reaching the teaching from Yoga can be, and they help me with every element of my life. Not only does yoga help with my stress levels, it also helps with my sense of self and discovering who I am. It's had a huge impact of dealing with anxiety, I am able to stay present with more ease and deal with fluctuations of emotion on a daily basis. I'm even more equipped to deal with deep rooted fears (this includes spiders).
These are just some of the tools yoga has handed me and I'd love to share them with you if I can.
This is where the Yoga Immersion course comes in.
The Yoga Immersion runs over 3 months and involves 2.5 hours together each month.
When you start the Yoga Immersion course, you start it with a specific topic in mind, and choose this topic at the time of booking. The physical Yoga and the Philosophy lessons are then based around your choice. So for instance, if you chose to work on 'Yoga for Dealing with Stress', we will learn physical practices to help you reduce the impact of stress, and then we will learn how to merge yoga teachings into every-day life to help you deal with stress on a day-to-day basis.
By the end of the 3 months we will have spent 4 and a half hours together talking and learning, trying new things, exploring new ideas and embracing these age old philosophies. Not only that, you'll feel a deep connection to your physical practice and know even more about what's right for your body every time you get on the mat as we'll have 3, 60 minute private sessions together.
The 3 available topics:
As this course consumes time, covers so much, and we have a lot of time together, you are welcome to book a free 15 minute call with me to make sure the course sounds right for you and meets the expectations you have. If you're confident this is the right thing for you you're welcome to book right away via the button below.
At time of booking you will be able to select both the month you start and the topic you'd like to dive into with me. Ahead of our first session together you will receive a questionaire to help me know our starting point and to learn a little more about you.
We then have 1 physical practice and 1 philosophy session together each month for the 3 months, ideally 4 ish weeks apart so you have time to work on each lesson before the next.
Please bear in mind that this is in no way therapy, the Yoga Immersion is an opportunity to discuss you and your struggles and this means it can be quite emotional, but the course is offering you the tools to help you going forward and very much relies on you making small and subtle changes in your day to day life.
If you have any questions about the course or what it involves please don't hesitate to get in touch or book your 15 minute free call. I very much look forward to working with you.
Love and light
Alex
