Partner Yoga Workshop
7-8:30pm, Friday 13th May at the Happy Om, Norwich
Enjoy a Yoga Workshop with your best mate at The Happy Om, Norwich.
This workshop is a practical one, as you might have guessed. It also requires team work, and getting up close and personal with your partner. The great thing about this session is, it will not be silent, it will not be serious, there will be laughs, there will be many many failed attempts. But it will definitely be fun. Never once have I played around with partner work and not ended up in fits of giggles.
Don't panic if you don't have someone to come along with, book in and I'll find you a partner on the day or you'll be able to work in threes. Some yoga or fitness experience is recommended, purely because body awareness and a basic level of strength will make this a lot more fun.
What we'll be doing:
Over the 90 minutes you will be able to ask any questions in regards to what we're covering, and adapt postures as needed. We can work around a few injuries for sure, but always let me know if you've any health conditions that may prevent you from carrying out any of the postures.
What you will need for this workshop:
Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about the workshop. Otherwise book on and you will be sent more details the week before the workshop.
We kick off at either 7pm on the 13th May and we aim to finish 90 minutes later. All Alex Howarth Yoga workshops are non refundable, and non transferable, however if something changes, please get in touch as I will consider refunds on a case by case basis. If you have any questions about your booking please don't hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to our extremely fun yoga practice together.
Namaste

What we'll be doing:
- Safety briefing!
- Partner stretches. Get to know each other and how each of you move with a few partner stretches to warm up
- Body positions and what to expect in each position (base or on top)
- Different versions and scaled options
- 4 different lifts, with the aim of both trying each position (if there is time, we may try one or two more)
- Stretch out and relaxation

What you will need for this workshop:
- Workout gear on. (We'll be bare feet, so no worries about trainers)
- A determination to do something new
- At least one yoga mat between the 2 of you (we have some to use if you don't have your own)
